1930s modernist protrait of a woman in bold colors.

The artist is unknown to us.  The work is signed ‘Carlos Leon’ in the upper right.  It appears to be a work by a Latin American artist.

Dated 1939.

Oil on linen, laid down on wood panel.

Measures 20.75 x 15.25 inches, and 30 x 24.75 x 3.25 inches overall including framing.

Painting is in excellent condition.  The vintage frame shows wear.
