William Gaw - Arrangement in Yellow and Blue

This is rare opportunity to own a work by Visser whose work is almost exclusively held in the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands. This work is strikingly similar to a work the museum has been reproduced on calendars and post cards.
In comparing this work to work held in the Rijksmuseum we can assume this work dates from about 1923.
The painting measures 9.35 x 9.35 inches sight size, and 17.15 x 17.15 x 1.25 inches overall including the framing.
It is in good condition and is signed with the artist’s cypher, lower left.
Housed in a contemporary frame under plexiglass.
